As per the instructions of Uttarakhand State Legal Services Authority, Nainital and under the guidance of District Judge-Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Almora, Shrikant Pandey, under the direction of Shashi Sharma, Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Almora, a three-day awareness campaign “Child Marriage Free Uttarakhand” has been launched in various rural areas, urban areas, schools, colleges etc. of the district.
Secretary Shashi Sharma informed that on the upcoming 17-18 May, “Child Labor Free Uttarakhand” two-day awareness campaign, 19-20 May “Udaan- Freedom from Exploitation” two-day awareness campaign, 21-22 May two-day awareness campaign under NALSA (Child Friendly Services for Children) Scheme 2024 and NALSA (Legal Services for Mentally Handicapped Persons and Intellectually Handicapped Persons) Scheme 2024, 23-24 May “Road Safety, Life Saving” two-day awareness campaign, 25-26 May “Safe Medicine: Safe Life” two-day awareness campaign and on 31 May “Tobacco Free Devbhoomi Uttarakhand” one-day awareness campaign will be run in which the general public will be made aware about the above topics through awareness camps, rallies, street plays etc.
He said that our job is to make the public aware of social inequalities so that a healthy society and healthy citizens can be created. He said that it is the responsibility of all of us to make the public aware against social inequalities. Secretary Shashi Sharma said that the public is participating in this work in a big way.

उत्तराखण्ड राज्य विधिक सेवा प्राधिकरण नैनीताल के निर्देशानुसार एवं जनपद न्यायाधीश-अध्यक्ष , जिला विधिक सेवा प्राधिकरण, अल्मोड़ा श्रीकांत पाण्डेय के मार्गदर्शन में  शचि शर्मा सचिव, जिला विधिक सेवा प्राधिकरण अल्मोड़ा के निर्देशन में जनपद के विभिन्न ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों, शहरी क्षेत्रों, स्कूलों, कालेजों आदि में  “बाल विवाह मुक्त उत्तराखण्ड ” तीन दिवसीय जागरुकता अभियान चलाया गया है।
     सचिव शचि शर्मा ने बताया कि आगामी 17-18 मई को “बाल श्रम मुक्त उत्तराखण्ड ” दो दिवसीय जागरुकता अभियान,  19-20 मई  “उड़ान- शोषण से स्वतंत्रता” दो दिवसीय जागरुकता अभियान 21-22 मई को नालसा (बच्चों के लिए बाल अनुकूल सेवाएं)योजना 2024 एवं नालसा (मानसिक रुप से विक्लांग व्यक्तियों और बौद्धिक रुप से विक्लांग व्यक्तियों के लिए कानूनी सेवाएं) योजना 2024 के अंतर्गत दो दिवसीय जागरुकता अभियान,  23-24 मई को “सड़क सुरक्षा, जीवन रक्षा” दो दिवसीय जागरुकता अभियान 25-26 मई को “सुरक्षित दवा: सुरक्षित जीवन” दो दिवसीय जागरुकता अभियान एवं 31 मई  को “तम्बाकू मुक्त देवभूमि उत्तराखण्ड” एक दिवसीय जागरुकता अभियान चलाया जायेगा जिसमें उपरोक्त विषयों के संबंध में जागरूकता शिविर, रैली, नुक्कड़ नाटक आदि के माध्यम से आमजन को जागरूक किया जायेगा।
      उन्होंने बताया कि हमारा काम जनता को सामाजिक विषमताओं के प्रति जागरूक करना है ताकि एक स्वस्थ समाज और स्वस्थ नागरिक का निर्माण किया जा सके। उन्होंने कहा कि हम सबका दायित्व सामाजिक विषमताओं के खिलाफ जनता को जागरूक करना है । सचिव शचि शर्मा ने बताया कि इस कार्य में जनता की भागीदारी बढ़-चढ़कर हो रही है।
